Tile & Surface
Cleaning
Cleaning Starts With the Right Method
Pool tile and surface buildup can come from hard water, evaporation, calcium scale, algae, stains, or long-term chemical imbalance. The right cleaning method depends on what is on the surface and what the surface is made of.
Before recommending tile cleaning, calcium removal, pressure washing, or stain treatment, we review the pool in person so we can evaluate the tile, surface condition, buildup severity, and surrounding areas.
Our Cleaning Services
Waterline Tile Cleaning
Cleaning for visible buildup, residue, and waterline deposits on pool tile. The method depends on tile condition and the severity of buildup.
Calcium Buildup Removal
Treatment options for mineral scale caused by hard Southern Nevada water, evaporation, and long-term chemical imbalance.
Deck Pressure Washing
Pressure washing for pool decks, walkways, and surrounding areas when the surface is suitable for cleaning.
Surface Stain Treatment
Review and treatment options for visible stains on pool surfaces. Results depend on the stain type, surface material, and how long the stain has been present.
Grout & Detail Cleaning
Detail cleaning for tile lines, grout areas, and hard-to-reach spots where buildup, discoloration, or residue can collect.
Water Feature Cleaning
Cleaning and descaling for fountains, spillways, waterfalls, and other water features affected by mineral deposits or buildup.
Why Tile Cleaning Matters
Improves the appearance of tile, waterline areas, and surrounding surfaces
Helps reduce visible calcium scale and mineral buildup
Removes buildup that normal brushing may not address
Helps identify surface issues before they become more noticeable
Supports a cleaner, more polished pool area
Southern Nevada Hard Water
Southern Nevada has hard, mineral-heavy water. As pool water evaporates, minerals are left behind and can collect along the waterline, tile, spillways, and surfaces. Over time, this can create visible calcium scale and stubborn buildup.
Regular cleaning and balanced water chemistry can help reduce visible buildup, but existing scale often needs a dedicated cleaning approach.
What Cleaning May Not Fix
Tile and surface cleaning can improve appearance, but it is not a repair service. Some problems require repair, replacement, resurfacing, or multiple treatments.
Cracked, loose, or missing tile
Missing grout or failing grout lines
Damaged plaster or structural surface issues
Deep etching caused by long-term chemical damage
Severe calcium scale that may require multiple treatments
Stains that have penetrated too deeply into the surface
If cleaning is not the right solution for what we see, we will explain that before moving forward.
Common Questions
Can tile cleaning remove all calcium buildup?
Tile cleaning can remove or reduce many types of visible calcium buildup, but results depend on the tile material, severity of scale, age of the buildup, and condition of the surface.
Will my tile look brand new after cleaning?
Cleaning can significantly improve the appearance of pool tile, but it cannot repair damaged tile, missing grout, etched surfaces, or permanent staining.
Do you need to see the pool first?
Yes. We need to review the tile, surface condition, calcium buildup, and surrounding areas in person before recommending the proper cleaning method.
Is tile cleaning different from an acid wash?
Yes. Tile cleaning focuses on waterline tile, calcium, and surface buildup. An acid wash is a deeper restoration process for certain plaster pool surfaces and is not the right solution for every pool.
Seeing Buildup or Stains?
Tell us what you are seeing. We will start with a conversation and schedule a visit to review the tile, surface, and buildup before recommending a cleaning method.
